This man, who overcame a foul conspiracy of some of the biggest players in the business to regain that same title...

This man, who held strong against the hypocracy of a megalomaniacal Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of RAW and Smackdown...

This man, who laid a legitimate claim to the "The Best in the World" moniker by outdueling one of the best of all time on the grandest stage of them all...

This man, who squared off against "The World's Strongest Man" at the peak of his powers 3 weeks in a row and emerged with the title intact...

This man, who espoused the merits of the WWE Championship above all else in his crusade to save wrestling from itself... hasn't won a singles match or defended his title in a month.

This man, who now fritters away the hours chatting on his cell phone during RAW broadcasts while his erstwhile girlfriend fights his battles for him, bides his time until a mandatory title defense against an undersized contender to the throne.

This man, a shadow of his former self, has fallen behind a WWE rookie in the Wrankings despite having held the WWE title and enjoyed its championship point bonus the entire season.

As an observer, I can only pray that this man's redemption will begin tomorrow at Money in the Bank.
