World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will present its next live Smackdown special this coming Tues., July 3, 2012, from the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas.
And because it's just one day before the Fourth of July, the promotion is breaking out a big name gimmick.
Indeed, this episode of Smackdown has been christened "The Great American Bash," the very same name that served as a pay-per-view for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during its day and later WWE.
A big battle royal match is also being advertised with all the major players participating. John Cena, Sheamus, CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, Daniel Bryan, and Big Show are all scheduled to participate.
