Somewhere, Jesse Holland is clutching his Hulk Hogan Wrestling Buddy and crying his eyes out.
To help promote Sunday's (June 10) TNA Slammiversary show, Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter have been making the media rounds in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since the big event takes place smack dab in the middle of the metroplex in Arlington.
He stopped by KDFA-TV, the local CW affiliate with his boss -- or is the other way around? -- to hype the event and gave out an interesting piece of information.
The Hulkster is retired.
"The last time I said I was retiring for sure, I was suckered back in the ring one time and I'll never do it again."
He also said he wishes he hadn't used his iconic leg drop as his finisher, seeing as dropping down onto his butt night after night for millions of years has left his back a mangled mess. Due his large biceps, he claimed a sleeper hold would have been just as effective.
Judging by the picture to the left, I can totally agree with The Hulkster on that one.
And of course, it wouldn't be a true Hogan interview without him making an outrageous claim. Nothing new this time around, just the usual 94,000 people at WrestleMania III and ripping every muscle apart while bodyslamming André the Giant.
You know, that old song and dance.
