Here's the latest episode of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Friday Night Smackdown from June 8, 2012, which featured a main event of World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus taking on Kane.
The match is actually solid but Sheamus is starting to do the John Cena style of selling, which is to say he doesn't really sell at all unless he's setting up a big comeback. I understand why this is done but that doesn't make me like it any more.
Alberto Del Rio continues to look weak, as he's unable to even complete a run-in on a downed Sheamus. With just one week left until No Way Out and no option of adding anyone to the match, it looks like WWE isn't even trying to pump Del Rio up as a legitimate threat. At this point, I'd buy Ricardo Rodriguez (who was awesome here) as a bigger challenge.
Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler was as good as you would expect it to be but the rest of the show was nothing memorable.
Enjoy!
