Odd Timings

In life there are many things that don't go with the natural flow of the day, like waiting for the conditioner to set in or finding money you didn't know you had. Sports has things like the excessive fouling at the end of college basketball, kneeling in football, etc. Wrestling has some very odd timings just due to the nature of the match or match types that I always find funny.

My two personal favorites are:

1. In a ladder match when the wrestler has to slow climb the ladder when they need extra time for someone to knock them off. It usually gets to this point because either the opponents are too far away or they started climbing too fast in the first place.

2. The Royal Rumble two man attempts. They pick the oddest places on the human body to try and get leverage, yet other wrestlers are single handily eliminating opponents left and right.

What are your favorite odd timings in wrestling?
