WWE Smackdown taped last night and much like Raw on Monday, the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view was the main focus of the show.
In particular, the eponymous ladder match which earns the winner a shot of a world title.
On the Raw side, John Cena, Kane, The Big Show and Chris Jericho have been announced for the WWE Championship ladder match with other participants -- such as The Miz and/or Rey Mysterio -- likely.
But what of Smackdown and the World Heavyweight Championship?
Well, at the tapings, WWE held a series of qualifying matches and some of the results are... enlightening.
Check out who made the cut with the spoilers after the jump.
Tensai defeated Justin Gabriel to earn his spot while Tyson Kidd won out over the "floundering" Jack Swagger.
The tag team of United States Champion Santino and Christian beat Cody Rhodes and David Otunga earning each of the victors a spot in the ladder match.
And of course, last but definitely not least, Damien Sandow defeated Zack Ryder to earn a spot in Smackdown's Money in the Bank match on July 23.
Excellent.
