Video: Sycho Sid returns to WWE Raw last night (June 25) in Indiana

As part of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) plan to bring back a former main eventer for every episode of Monday Night Raw leading up to the historic 1,000th episode on July 23, 2012, Sycho Sid returned last night (June 25) to be the latest legend to squash Heath Slater.

Sid, a former two-time World Wrestling Federation (WWF) champion, hadn't been seen in the company since June of 1997. It was then that he left for World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he would suffer one of the worst recorded injuries in pro wrestling history -- or at least one that was broadcast to the world -- years later that essentially ended his career.

He actually looked pretty good here, all things considered. He wasn't asked to do anything overly physical, save for his powerbomb finish. In fact, he didn't even take a single bump.

Still, this was slightly difficult to watch, especially for those who witnessed his leg injury in 2001 and have been made to view the .gifs and pics that have lived on across the Internet since then.

Anyway, enjoy ... if you can.
