The Cageside Seats (CSS) Pro Wrestling Tournament continues today with a first round match-up pitting number three seed Randy Savage against number 14 seed Jake Roberts.

The "Macho Man" is one of the most beloved pro wrestlers of all time. To say his untimely death hasn't added to that would be disingenuous at best, although it rang true before then. Savage was the very definition of charismatic, as he captivated audiences the world over with his high workrate and unique promos. If you've heard Savage speak, it's impossible to ever forget his gravely delivery. On top of being an outstanding performer, he was one of the most popular during a time when Hulk Hogan was dominating the entire landscape of the business. That's no small feat.

One of his foils during that every same time was Roberts, who also had a unique way of cutting promos. Whereas Savage tended to go over the top, "The Snake" was cold, cool and calculating with a cerebral approach that came across insanely intense. Every word uttered was done with quiet conviction you couldn't help but be captivated by. He was also one of the very best inside the ring when it came to psychology.

Remember when Roberts unleashed his snake on Savage and we were all treated to the traumatic visual of "Macho Man" getting his arm bitten by it? You can decide now if you want to side with Roberts or Savage!
