Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is holding true to its promise to utilize house show events to advance the Bound for Glory (BFG) Series.
Such was the case last night (Fri., June 22, 2012) at a house show in Buffalo, New York, as James Storm pinned Robbie E and Samoa Joe pinned Mr. Anderson to pick up seven points apiece.
Here's what the updated standings look like as of today:
- James Storm -- 34 points
- Kurt Angle -- 10 points
- Jeff Hardy -- 7 points
- Samoa Joe -- 7 points
- Mr. Anderson -- 7 points
- Magnus -- 7 points
- D'Angelo Dinero -- 7 points
- Christopher Daniels -- 0 points
- AJ Styles -- 0 points
- Bully Ray -- 0 points
- Robbie E -- 0 points
- Rob Van Dam -- 0 points
I'm not sure what the point is of giving Storm such a gigantic lead that looks more and more insurmountable as the days go by. And we're only two or three dates into the Series. Granted, they can make up ground but that would require jobbing Storm out in consecutive weeks while others get over.
Wouldn't it be better to have him finish strong instead of the other way around?
Either way, we'll keep you updated on the BFG Series standings each day anything changes, Cagesiders.
