The Cageside Seats (CSS) Pro Wrestling Tournament continues today with a first round match-up pitting number seven seed Billy Graham against number 10 seed Sgt. Slaughter.

If you're a fan of mixed martial arts (MMA) and have listened to Chael Sonnen speak, then you can hear the influence of "Superstar" Billy Graham. In fact, Sonnen has outright ripped off entire promos from him. But he's not the only one who saw Graham and was totally enamored by him. Wrestlers like Triple H, Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura have all borrowed heavily from Graham's style. His physique and style made him one of the most memorable characters in history.

Speaking of memorable characters, Sgt. Slaughter was an awesome heel who used the cobra clutch to get over with a slick gimmick that quickly got him over amongst fans. Between the American Wrestling Association (AWA) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), Slaughter was a perennial main event level player. When he turned babyface, he became an even bigger star. And while he never held the title for a particularly long reign, he was constantly hovering around the top.
