This isn't good just because it happened. No, it's good because of when it happened.
Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling superstar Kurt Angle took to Twitter last night to campaign to become the next World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) General Manager of Monday Night Raw. And he did this during the latest live episode of Impact, which took place last night (June 21, 2012) and featured Angle squashing Robbie E in a short Bound for Glory Series match.
"Angle4RawManager. I'm the Best Ever," he tweeted.
His tweet was retweeted 156 times, spreading the word all throughout the social media site that one of the top stars of TNA wants to go back to WWE to be its GM on its flagship show.
Is he being serious? Maybe. Maybe not. But he's promoting the competition and he's doing so in the middle of his company's program. Only in TNA.
And now we wait to see how long until he gets called out on it and quickly blames the nefarious wrestling Twitter hacker.
