Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling returns to pay-per-view (PPV) next month on July 8, 2012, live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, with Destination-X.

And the main event of the show is going to be a doozy.

Indeed, Austin Aries made the decision to vacate his X-Division championship in favor of the opportunity to challenge Bobby Roode for the TNA heavyweight title as the show's headliner.

Even better, it was announced this would be an annual thing. Every year at this time, the X-Division champion will be given the opportunity for a title shot. For all the company's various faults, this was a decision they deserve to be lauded for.

And Aries vs. Roode should be an absolutely bonkers match. Yes, Roode is almost certainly going to retain, but "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" is going to make this an event you can't miss, Cagesiders.
