It's all about Brock Lesnar.
Here's the SummerSlam poster Triple H revealed on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, which prominently features Brock Lesnar for the 25th Anniversary event scheduled for Sun., Aug. 19, 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Well, it's not actually the 25th Anniversary show, but World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) will ignore the facts so as to market things in a certain way. Which is fine, really, you just have to overlook how silly it is. This is actually the 25th annual show, meaning it's the 24th Anniversary.
During Raw, they played this into the storyline by having Triple H "offer" this poster to Paul Heyman as a way to get Lesnar to accept a match with him for the main event. In reality, that was always the plan and this poster likely always was too.
This would also seem to confirm that WWE is 100-percent confident that Lesnar isn't going anywhere, certainly not back to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) or the mixed martial arts (MMA) career he left behind to come back to pro wrestling.
Sorry, Dana White.
Now the money question -- who goes over when Lesnar meets Triple H in the middle of the ring-uh?
