World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Chris Jericho has been using his Twitter account to run a unique countdown each day until he is able to return to the company following his 30-day suspension.
"Y2J," who was given a mandatory month long vacation thanks to an incident at a house show in South America where he denigrated a Brazilian flag, is down to just three days remaining until he's eligible to return. Because of this, WWE already started advertising him for next week's edition of Monday Night Raw.
He'll be a welcome addition to a roster already depleted with injuries and suspensions, which also includes Randy Orton getting popped for his second Wellness Policy violation.
Speaking of Orton, who was gearing up for a feud with Jericho before they were both put on the shelf, he's now being advertised locally for the July 30 Raw show, which would be exactly 60 days after he was suspended. There were reports circulating that Vince McMahon wanted to keep Orton off television longer than that, even forcing him to miss SummerSlam, as extra punishment for his indiscretions but it would seem that idea, if it ever was true, has been quickly abandoned.
And with Jericho leaving that date open, not to mention every Monday, for his upcoming Fozzy tour, it's possible we could be getting Jericho vs. Orton at SummerSlam in support of the planned Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H match.
Sound good to everyone?
