World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar -- and we can accurately say that now, can't we -- Daniel Bryan sits down to chat with Peter Rosenberg for a long interview to discuss his career, his time training with Shawn Michaels, Dean Malenko being his favorite wrestler growing up, wanting to reach John Cena status, and much more.
Bryan comes off extremely likable here. He's not in character at all and he seems very much like just a regular dude any one of us Cagesiders could be friends with.
Quote of the video:
"I am the antithesis of everything Vince McMahon thinks a superstar is."
Bryan also tells a great story of Chris Jericho telling the folks in the back after wrestling Bryan on NXT that he's damn good and they could use him, to which Vince responded, "who is going to buy somebody who doesn't even eat meat?"
All this without mentioning a hilarious story he tells of Ryback -- who Bryan calls "The Ryback" -- getting heat at a Panera bread because he couldn't find anything to eat there.
It's a great interview, Cagesiders. Enjoy!
