She Looked Into The S3's Soul and Saw...YOUR Votes

Damien Sandow told us that brevity is the soul of wit. So vote for YOUR Performer of the Week. Then, do the "Continue reading this post >>" thing to see how last week's edition of the Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) shook out and if things are getting interesting in the race for YOUR Performer of the Year. And, O HEI, there's a picture of a girl behind the jump...

Remember, the poll is for the previous week - the June 11th RAW, Impact! from the 14th, the Smackdown that aired on Friday June 15th and WWE's No Way Out PPV.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Even if they don't let her compete in actual wrestling matches, despite the dismissive and sexist "crazy chick" label...AJ Lee has made the absolute most out of her TV time and cemented her Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) darling status with a decisive win in last week's poll.

We're proud to present the first female winner of the S3!

The S3 - Week Ending June 10

1. AJ Lee
2. Dolph Ziggler
3. Austin Aries
4. CM Punk
5. (tie) Bobby Roode
5. (tie) Bully Ray
5. (tie) Michael Cole
8. (tie) Daniel Bryan
8. (tie) Antonio Cesaro
8. (tie) Sheamus

In the annual S3, CM Punk inched closer to the top spot as Daniel Bryan continues to track near the bottom of the list following his record-setting streak of first place finishes in May. Will anyone get within shouting distance of the WWE Champ and the Yes! man? Only YOU can decide - those right behind them in the Standings are a veritable who's who of Smark faves that could surely attract YOUR votes if booked right.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending June 10

1. Daniel Bryan - 74.5 points
2. CM Punk - 69.5
3. AJ Lee - 29.5
4. Dolph Ziggler - 27.5
5. (tie) Chris Jericho - 27
5. (tie) Bobby Roode - 27
7. Brock Lesnar - 26.5
8. John Laurinaitis - 25.5
9. Big Show - 25
10. Austin Aries - 22.5

And we haven't run the fine print in a while, so:

A wrestler must appear on a nationally televised pro wrestling program (currently WWE RAW, Smackdown or TNA Impact) or a PPV promoted on one of those shows to be included in the weekly S3 poll. Those receiving votes in the prior week typically will appear in the poll, unless they do not appear on television during the week that the poll covers. Wrestlers playing a major role in a story or angle, given significant promo time or involved in a lengthy and/or widely acclaimed match will be listed on the poll regardless of whether or not they received votes in the prior week. If YOU smarks think we've excluded someone, cast YOUR vote for that person in the comments, and state YOUR case for why that vote should count. Provided a decent justification, YOUR vote will be tabulated and that wrestler will be listed in the next poll.

The annual S3 is based on the weekly results, with a first place finish being worth ten points, a second worth nine, and so on. Ties will result in the points that each spot would have received being distributed equally among the number of wrestlers involved in the tie. For example: Bobby Roode, Mark Henry and Kharma tie for fifth, occupying spots five (5 points), six (4 points) and seven (3 points) in the standings. The twelve points awarded for those spots are split three ways, and they each receive four points toward Performer of the Year.

See you next week!
