It's not quite damn time yet.
Sheamus took on Dolph Ziggler in the opening match of tonight's No Way Out event and came out on top, retaining his World Heavyweight Championship.
After earning the number one contendership on this past's Raw -- thanks to a concussion suffered by original challenger Alberto Del Rio -- Ziggler screamed out, "It's about damn time!"
It's no secret that Ziggler's athleticism, charisma and selling abilities which are second to none have made him a Cageside favorite.
Now it appears his appeal is becoming more mainstream.
Loud "Let's go Ziggler" chants filled the Izod Center in New Jersey as a large majority of the crowd seemed to be behind "The Show Off."
But after a a back and forth contest, it was the champion to walk away with the title in a great contest.
If this was indeed Ziggler's "main event tryout" as one Cagesider said, you have to think he passed quite easily.
Keep up with all of tonight's action with Cageside Seats' live play by play here!
