Welcome to Wrestler Wrankings, the weekly sports column where we score the most unimpeachable form of competition that exists in the world today: professional wrestling.
Sunday's No Way Out pay per view show emanated from the "great" state of New Jersey and it's not a moment too soon. Astute Wrankings readers will notice that there was merely minor shuffling in the top 10, with by far the most notable points being earned by Sting's arch-nemesis from 1992. Suffice it to say, the WWE Universe is ready for the 1.5x PPV bonus that No Way Out will bring.
Ryback continued to impress this week, with 4 more big points. Though his opponents may have lacked the physicality of a Harley Race, the technical acumen of Ricky Steamboat, or the flair of a... Bastion Booger..., he has nonetheless taken care of business. One can only assume that Ryback, a young and unproven grappler, has little input into who he faces on a nightly basis and if his "feed me" chants are to be taken at face value, then he is clearly willing to take on bigger challenges. Let's hope the higher ups in Stamford hear him and serve up more for this monster to chew on in the coming weeks.
Our formula and this weeks Wrankings, after the jump.
