WWE No Way Out is all set to pop off tonight (Sun., June 17, 2012) from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, at 8 p.m. ET, live on pay-per-view.
CagesideSeats.com will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, match-by-match coverage of No Way Out below, beginning with the first match of the evening and right on through to the main event.
Tonight's show will feature a main event pitting John Cena vs. Big Show in a steel cage match with more than a few jobs on the line. If Cena loses, he'll be fired on tomorrow night's Raw. If Show loses, John Laurinaitis will be canned by Vince McMahon, who will be ringside to take care of business right then and there if the need arises.
On the undercard, CM Punk defends the WWE championship against Daniel Bryan and Kane in a Triple Threat match that also involves AJ. What role she'll play we obviously don't know but it's the most compelling thing about this entire show. Dolph Ziggler gets his big chance to shine, as he'll challenge Sheamus for the world heavyweight championship as a late replacement for the injured Alberto Del Rio.
Plus, a Divas title match and an Intercontinental championship showdown.
So kick your shoes off, relax, and enjoy all the action with your favorite pro wrestling website. And remember to keep refreshing!
Full results and match coverage after the jump.

We open with a video package hyping the main event. It's amazing how the WWE Production team can get so much out of these when they have so very little to work with. Show has been great for weeks but it's still Cena vs. Show in a main event in 2012.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We start with the world heavyweight championship match. That's not the worst idea, I suppose, but I'm old school and still think match order matters.
Sheamus comes out first. I'm also old school in my thinking that the champion should come out second.
Ziggler, surprisingly, draws more than a few cheers.
Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler -- Before the match gets underway, Ziggler does leg lifts while hanging from the ropes in the corner. He follows up with one arm push ups. The dude is sick.
The bell rings and Ziggler calls up Vickie Guerrero for a pep talk. He then tells her to kiss him on the cheek. So she does and when he turns around, Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick, shades of WrestleMania 28. Dolph moves away just in time and avoids the same fate as Daniel Bryan.
The crowd suddenly starts chanting "let's go Ziggler."
Sheamus takes control early but Ziggler comes back with a dropkick. He works a sleeper but Sheamus puts him on the ropes. Ziggler slaps the champion and Sheamus just pushes him down to the floor on the outside. There's that temper again, y'all.
Back in the ring and Ziggler gets back into it before Sheamus hits an elbow and a neckbreaker for two. Ziggler finally does get his comeback with a poke to the eye and a big DDT back in the ring. That gets a two count but he's now firmly in control while Vickie points and laughs at Sheamus on the outside.
I'm not sure she should do that. Could get him angry and we wouldn't like him when he's angry.
Ziggler gets a knee lift and Sheamus flips while the crowd once again gets behind Ziggler. Memo to WWE: it's not a good sign when the crowd is firmly in the camp of whoever is facing your babyface champion.
Dolph works a headlock and does a headstand while doing so. That Ziggler, he's such a show off.
The rest spot goes really long and the crowd gets restless. Sheamus finally makes his comeback by lifting Ziggler up on his shoulders. Dolph comes down on him with a big DDT and the crowd popped big for it. They also got pissed when the ensuing pinfall only garnered a two count.
Ziggler goes back to another rest hold. Sheamus gets up and gets out but Ziggler goes for a roll up. He almost gets it, too, except the referee sees his arm on the rope and stops counting. Dolph, not to mention the crowd, isn't happy about this.
Sheamus again makes a comeback on another rest hold but Ziggler gets the sleeper off the ropes. He gets sent off but comes off the top rope. Once again, he looks for a sleeper but Sheamus throws him off.
Ziggler gets the fameasser that Booker T calls the Zig Zag, but is really just the leg lariat bullshit Zack Ryder does for his finisher.
He gets a two count on it and the crowd is seriously hot for Dolph now. Sheamus with a boot to the gut to come back and he lifts himself up to the top rope and gets booed for it.
Oh, shit, facebuster off the top rope for Ziggler. He turns him over.
1!
2!
KICK OUT!
This crowd is nuts for Ziggler at this point. Oh shit, Dolph is holding his knee. Please be selling. He is.
Ziggler gets up and goes for the Zig Zag but Sheamus catches him and gets a backbreaker. This leads to Sheamus getting his forearms through the ropes spot. The crowd counts along, despite being in Dolph's corner the entire match.
Again, Ziggler looks for the sleeper coming off the ropes but Sheamus counters with White Noise.
He walks to the corner and everyone knows what's coming. No one is happy about it. Ziggler gets up still holding the knee and the Brogue Kick hits.
That gets the pinfall.
Sheamus def. Dolph Ziggler to retain the world heavyweight championship

Cut to Vince McMahon walking backstage and John Laurinaitis comes running to catch up to him. "Ace" says Vince shouldn't go to ringside tonight because of all the bright lights and loud noises out there. Don't want to do that with a concussion.
Laurinaitis then says he wants to make sure they have a good relationship once Big Show beats Cena tonight.
Josh Matthews comes running in and asks Laurinaitis about pressure.
"What do you know about pressure?" Laurinaitis starts bagging on Matthews about being a wannabe wrestler turned announcer who can't even do that right.
"I've got a show to run. Tonight, tomorrow and into the future."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez -- They compare suits after the bell rings and then play to the crowd. Guess who gets the bigger response?
Finally, they start pushing each other. Ricardo rips some of Santino's tux. "This is my only tuxedo," Marella says.
Inverted atomic drop from Santino. He gets Ricardo's jacket off and starts toying with him like a matador. Drop toe hold from Marella leads to one shoe coming off. Another one leads to the other one coming off.
God, please go faster.
Just in time, the New Jersey crowd starts a "boring" chant. Yes, let them know how god awful this has turned out to be.
Rodriguez actually gets some offense in but Santino breaks out the Cobra real quick. Nothing happens, though, because Rodriguez comes out of nowhere and starts rapidly undressing Marella.
He's got basically all of Santino's clothes off. Oh, god, he's got a Cobra on his foot. He kips up and hits Rodriguez with it. Santino strips him to reveal a pair of underwear with Alberto Del Rio's face on the ass.
Santino Marella def. Ricardo Rodriguez

Backstage for an interview with CM Punk.
Matt Striker asks what's the deal with his relationship with AJ. He says, "what relationship? Yes, she's crazy and I dig crazy chicks, but tonight's not about her, it's about my WWE championship."
Blah blah. He goes on to put over his opponents and AJ shows up to give him a good luck kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you, AJ, but luck's for losers."
Then he walks off. Striker tries to get something out of AJ but she mean mugs him and he walks off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christian vs. Cody Rhodes -- Cody takes control early and plays to the crowd to almost no response. Christian responds and gets in with his own offense. Solid flying dropkick sending Rhodes to the outside. He takes Christian's legs out from under him, though, and regains control.
While he works over Christian, Booker T rightfully puts him over on commentary, saying he's been in the ring with him and "the kid knows what he's doing."
Meanwhile, Rhodes gets a nice counter on Christian to send his shoulder into the ring post. He brings him back in the ring and hits a suplex for a two count.
Man, there is zero heat for this match.
Cody continues his assault, pushing Christian out of the ring and onto the shoulder he's selling. Christian reverses an Irish whip into the steel steps before jumping up and hitting a DDT on the floor.
Suddenly, we hear the referee counting them out and he's already up to eight. Magically, both guys stop selling long enough to get back in the ring. Christian goes up top for a dropkick that gets a two count. Now he starts with the clapping to get the crowd into it routine. A drop toe hold gets Rhodes onto the ropes but the follow up punch misses because Rhodes was ready for hit.
Christian still gets a shot in and then goes up top for a crossbody. He hits but Cody rolls through for a pinfall attempt but only gets two.
Another counter from Rhodes puts him back in control. That doesn't last long, as Christian hits a hurricanrana off the top rope. Rhodes back with a kick to the gut on the ropes and an Alabama slam. That only gets two, though.
The pacing here is a bit too slow, but I'm guessing that was by design.
Christian counters Cody looking for the Cross Rhodes. He looks for a spear but Cody gets out of the way. They trade pinfall attempts before Christian hits the Killswitch.
But Rhodes kicks out.
They must be doing that to get over Christian's splash finisher. He goes up top but Cody meets him there. Christian knocks him off and Christian goes for the splash but Rhodes puts his legs up. He gets up and looks for the Beautiful Disaster but Christian ducks. Killswitch gets countered and another Beautiful Disaster misses. Christian hits the spear this time and that's enough to get the pin.
Christian def. Cody Rhodes to retain the Intercontinental championship

Fatal Four Way Tag Team match time. This was announced just before the PPV. The winners earn a shot at the WWE tag team championships. Abraham Washington is finally back with his clients.
Primo and Epico vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. The Primetime Players (Titus O'Neil and Darren Young) vs. The Usos -- Booker T tries to get this match over by saying he started as a tag team wrestler and this is where stars can be made.
We'll see.
O'Neil works an Uso before tagging in Young. They try to hit a suplex on top of the Uso but he moves and tags in his partner. Now Young gets worked over into the opposite corner. Epico tags himself in, because the rules say anyone can tag themselves in, and the Usos start working him over.
He rolls to the corner far enough for Gabriel to tag in. They go toe-to-toe for a minute before the Uso gets control and starts clearing everyone out. When he gets to the Primetime Players, though, O'Neil tags himself in and tries to pin Gabriel. Nothing going, though, and he tags Young in to go to work.
Now it's Epico and Primo's turn to get inside and trade off getting offense in on Gabriel, all while Rosa Mendes acts annoying ringside with A.W.
Primo gets all Liu Kang with a side kick and leg sweep into a leg drop. The pinfall attempt gets two.
Wouldn't a Mortal Kombat gimmick be fucking awesome in WWE?
Gabriel's been getting beat on for like eight minutes now. He finally gets away from Primo's attack and tags in Tyson Kidd, who is the only fresh man remaining in the match. He goes to work with fury, destroying Primo by jumping over the top rope for a leg drop on the apron.
That was impressive.
Epico makes the save for his partner and now things are breaking down. The Usos go flying to the outside to hit O'Neil and Gabriel and Epico.
Young tags in on Kidd but gets kicked out of the ring before he can get in the ring. Kidd keeps going on Primo and holy shit, he hits a hurricanrana off the top rope onto the rest of the wrestlers in the match who were waiting on the outside.
Just a wall of bodies.
Young slides back into the ring and A.W. grabs Primo and throws him in the ring. Young hits his finisher and when Epico goes in to make the save on his partner, A.W. holds him back. He just turned, I guess. He gets in the ring and raises The Primetime Players hands.
The Primetime Players win Fatal Four Way to become number one contenders to tag team championships
Epico and Primo get in the ring and start yelling at Washington. They lay him out with a punch before O'Neil and Young go after them. They clean house and that's that.

We go ringside for Cole to lead us in to a replay of the situation with Triple H and Brock Lesnar. I guess that means "The Game" is next to cut his big promo.
Time to play the game, folks.
Triple H says he spent half his life working inside the ring. And that's because he loves the business. Plus, he never wanted to get a real job but that's what he has now, a real job as a corporate executive.
But he's best at fighting and he's tired of being all tied up in legal mumbo jumbo. So he's got an idea.
He brings up Brock Lesnar saying he's a fighter and Paul Heyman saying he's a fighter. Trips says Brock broke his arm but it's feeling a lot better. He's not wearing a cast, mind you. He says in a few weeks, he should be back in fighting shape.
Right smack dab in the middle of summer.
So he proposes they get rid of the lawyers and lawsuits and legal junk and fight.
"We're fighters, Brock, and I want to fight you bad. Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H at SummerSlam. Let's do this. Let's fight."
He just keeps repeating himself over and over before saying Lesnar can be happy with being a quitter or he can accept the challenge. "I'll be waiting."
He drops the mic and leaves.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstage and AJ is talking to Daniel Bryan. He's warming up for his match tonight. Bryan says now isn't the time but AJ persists and says even after everything they've been through, there's still a part of her that hasn't gotten over him.
"I don't care."
She says she doesn't expect him to do anything about it but she just wanted to tell him and wish him good luck. She kisses him on the cheek and walks off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Layla vs. Beth Phoenix -- Thanks to technical difficulties, I've missed most of this match. Layla hits a sweet neckbreaker on Phoenix that gets the pin. That was a nice neckbreaker.
Layla def. Beth Phoenix to retain the Divas championship
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstage again and AJ is looking for Kane. She finds him under some red lighting. She's at a loss for words but finally says she just wants to wish him good luck before kissing him on the cheek.
He grabs her before she can walk away and starts kissing her deeply on the mouth. She doesn't pull away and kisses him right back. The crowd starts chanting "YES! YES! YES!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because there's time to kill before the top two matches on the card, we get an unannounced singles match between the two usual suspects.
Sin Cara vs. Hunico -- As expected, we get all the usual from these two. This time, though, Hunico is in control early and doing his thing. Typically, they've used these matches to get Sin Cara over by letting him do his fancy moves with a guy who knows how to work with him.
Hunico is dominant early. Really, he's just working Sin Cara over, hitting him with everything he has. Drop kicks and rest holds galore.
Finally, Cara comes back with an arm drag. Follows that up with a hurricanrana. They show that Cara is trending on Twitter and Cole says that means he's popular.
He hits La Mistica out of nowhere to get the pin and the victory after getting tossed the entire match.
Sin Cara def. Hunico

Time for the co-main event which should be the actual main event.
A video package plays to explain everything. I'm legitimately excited for this one.
Crowd is insanely hot for Bryan. Not much reaction for Kane. Punk gets chants before his music plays. He's also really over in Jersey.
CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane -- Punk gets put into the corner early and Kane grabs Bryan for a choke slam. Punk comes running in and he gets grabbed up too. The babyfaces kick their way out -- because Bryan is a babyface now, you guys -- and they team up to literally kick the hell out of Kane.
They then trade near falls on Kane while pulling each other off. Then it's time for the two to slug it out so the crowd can chant along as they do. And they're hot for it, too. Punk sends Bryan out and looks for a suicide dive but Kane gets up to meet him with a clothesline.
He starts working over Punk but Bryan sends him out with a running knee. He then hits another going all the way outside. Punk springboards off the top rope and crashes into both men on the arena floor entrance way.
Punk throws Bryan back in the ring and tries to get a quick pin but only gets two. A backbreaker gets another two count. Now Punk works a facelock while calling Bryan goat face.
Ugh.
Kane gets back into the action by gut punching Bryan while he's looking for the running knee off the apron. He works over Punk's leg on the ring post by bending it around it before getting in the ring and hitting a diving dropkick.
Now it's time for "The Big Red Machine" to do his thing and slow us down a bit.
Kane puts Punk in the corner and Bryan runs in to hit Punk before running into a side slam from Kane. Eventually, Bryan ends up sending him to the outside, though, leaving Punk and Bryan in the ring.
After some battling between the two, Kane comes in while Punk and Bryan are on the top ropes. He sends Punk flying off while Bryan is just sitting there. Punk does the same and they go back and forth a few more times unable to decide who should get to hit the superplex.
Eventually, Bryan stands up and kicks them both while they brawl with each other.
That was a good spot.
Bryan hits his YES! kicks but Punk counters with a roll up before hitting the high knee in the corner on both Bryan and Kane, who is back up and at 'em. The follow up bulldog on Kane leads to a clothesline of Bryan. Kane gets sent out again and Punk goes up top to look for the flying elbow on Bryan.
Bryan meets him there and goes for a superplex. Kane shows up and grabs Bryan on his shoulders. While he holds him there, Punk comes in with a clothesline. Right after, he sends Kane over the top rope and to the outside with a clothesline but only gets two when he quickly tries to pin Bryan.
Body slam from Punk sets up the Flying Elbow. It hits but he takes way too long to cover and Bryan kicks out.
Punk picks Bryan up for the GTS but Kane comes in for a big boot to break it up. Bryan gets sent out and now Kane works Punk in the corner. This leads to another Flying Elbow from Punk but Kane moves. Bryan in and up top to hit a diving headbutt that gets a two count.
Kane comes in and gets sent to the outside yet again. Bryan walks over to Punk and gets caught in a roll up. Two count. Bryan locks in the YES! Lock suddenly and Punk reverses back. This time the pin gets two. He gets up and hits the GTS but Kane drags Bryan out of the ring.
Back in comes Kane and he goes up top for a clothesline. He only gets two and it's not long until Punk is back up top looking for the flying elbow. He hits and gets two on it and once again calls for the GTS.
He can't get Kane on his shoulders, though, and Kane pushes him into the ropes and hits a big boot. Huge choke slam gets a long two count.
Jesus, this is great.
Kane complains at the ref but picks Punk up for the tombstone piledriver when Punk gets up. Here comes AJ. She gets on the apron and Punk knocks Kane into her. She goes flying and while Kane looks over at her concerned, Punk hits the GTS on Kane to get the pin.
CM Punk def. Kane and Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE championship
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a really disappointing booking decision. That's my knee jerk reaction.
Kane checks on AJ, who is still laid out on the floor. He picks her up and walks out holding her close.
She smiles towards Punk in the ring and appears to blow him kisses. Punk laughs in the ring while holding up the WWE title.
"There's obviously a method to her madness," Lawler remarks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time for another Ryback squash.
Before the match begins, Ryback does his head nod thing while saying Ry-back like he's trying to control the chants. Too bad the New Jersey crowd doesn't go for it and starts in with the Gold-berg chants.
Ryback vs. Dan Delaney and Rob Grymes -- The match starts with the usual huge back body drop. Oh, he's got a new move. He goes to the second rope and falls straight forward on top of one of the two jobbers.
"FINISH HIM!"
Up they go for the fireman's carry drop back slam. Feed me three and that's the match.
Ryback def. Dan Delaney and Rob Grymes

Promo runs for the main event. It's kind of funny that Vince decided not to fire Laurinaitis on Raw just because Big Show interrupted him right before he said the magic two words.
Pro wrestling, though, you know what I mean?
John Cena vs. Big Show -- Right out of the gate and Show takes advantage. Laurinaitis and McMahon are ringside as promised. Show throws Cena into the cage and the cameras catch Cena having a nice little talk with the referee.
Show goes for the WMD early but Cena moves and tries to climb out of the cage. He doesn't get far before Show brings him crashing back down to the mat.
This match looks a lot like the Show vs. Kofi Kingston match that happened on Raw this past Monday night. Show is dominant with Cena getting brief flashes of life that are quickly snuffed out. Show is also walking around the ring and playing to the crowd a lot, telling everyone to smile for him.
He's still in control and has been for about 10 minutes now. Or at least it's felt that way. Laurinaitis is shown sitting ringside smiling while McMahon looks unhappy.
Cena finally gets into the match and hits a slam before looking for a pin. He gets thrown off, though, and starts climbing to get to the outside. Show goes up with him and gets racked on the ropes for his troubles. Cena then hits a running shoulder block.
Show makes a comeback fairly quickly, however, and goes back to beating Cena down.
The big man goes up to the second rope and hits a Vader bomb that gets two.
More technical problems here and I missed about 10 minutes.
Cole is telling me Laurinaitis took out the referee outside the ring, he threw McMahon's head into the cage and Show took out the referee inside the ring. Cena is completely laid out in the ring while Show is playing to the crowd.
Show starts to walk out of the cage and Brodus Clay shows up with a chair, begging him to come all the way outside. This causes Show to stop short. He starts climbing up the cage on the other side but quickly realizes he has no way out, get it.
That pesky Funkasaurus.
Brodus starts motioning to the back and Santino Marella and Zack Ryder come running out. They climb the cage but get knocked off by Show.
Here comes Ryder now, and he gets knocked out while trying to climb the cage. At this point, Show is just laughing at Clay. Show starts climbing himself but Kofi runs up to meet him. Show grabs him but Kingston battles back with kicks that send Show crashing all the way down to the mat.
Cena climbs over to the cage and makes it out to win the match. Clay holds Laurinaitis until Cena can get to him. Cena picks him up and McMahon walks over with a microphone and tells him he's fired.
Cena then gives "Ace" the Attitude Adjustment through the table. Cena celebrates with Clay and the others while Laurinaitis is laid out.
Cole immediately changes sides and says he thought Laurinaitis was always doing a bad job.
Cene stands tall in the middle of the ring as the show closes.
End.
