TNA Impact Wrestling
This past Sunday's (June 10) Slammiversary pay-per-view was the biggest show in TNA's history.
Not only in terms of attendance but in terms of scope as well.
Taking place in Arlington, Texas, just a hop, skip, and drive away from Dallas where parent company Panda Energy is headquartered, it no doubt was a gauge for the corporate suits to see how their pro wrestling investment was doing.
While ratings have been stagnant and PPV buys barely register, Dixie Carter and her boys were able to pack nearly 5,000 screaming fans into the College Park Center.
For three hours, ratings and buyrates didn't matter. If the reaction these thousands of Texans were giving were any indication, TNA is headed in the right direction.
Believe me, I was one of them. It was an incredibly fun show I was lucky to have seen live.
