Matt Morgan isn't happy.
Indeed, "The Blueprint" talked with 102.5 FM The Bear and confirmed that he isn't pleased with management at Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling and his contract will be coming up after he fulfills his final obligations with the company on this upcoming weekends house show tour.
Morgan made sure to be clear that his issue is solely with upper management and has nothing to do with the actual roster, which he put over as the very best out there.
Ultimately, his problem is that he feels he's not "getting what I put in to TNA."
Morgan did make mention of "a carrot dangling in front of my face," which would seemingly refer to the fact that he hasn't been given a run with the TNA heavyweight title since coming over to the company in Aug. 2007. He's challenged for the belt a number of times but was always foiled in some way or another.
All this has led to speculation that Morgan will be headed back to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he spent the first few years of his career. His size made him instantly attractive to the powers that be in Stamford but he was so green that he spent most of his time in developmental. Eventually, he was let go but now that he's had time to develop even further with TNA, becoming a big man who can work well and cut a decent promo, is a return to WWE in the cards?
He teased as much on his Twitter account recently but is that something you Cagesiders would like to see?
