Flair-Christian 2

The Cageside Seats (CSS) Pro Wrestling Tournament continues today with a match-up pitting number one seed Ric Flair against number 16 seed Christian.

It doesn't get much bigger than Ric Flair. He borrowed heavily from Gorgeous George and Buddy Rogers and perfected "The Nature Boy" gimmick, a kiss stealing, wheeling, dealing, limo riding, jet flying, son of a gun. His career, which is still alive today, has spanned 40 years. Widely regarded as one of the greatest workers of his time, Flair has feuded with every major star of the modern era. He's a 16-time world champion spanning the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), though the actual total is in dispute. In short, he's one of the greatest ever.

Christian may not have been a main event level talent throughout the majority of his run with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), but he may have been the most successful tag team wrestler of the Attitude Era with his partner, Edge. As a duo, the two won seven tag team championships while Christian pushed that total to nine with other partners. He's also a Grand Slam champion who is widely regarded as one of the better workers in the industry. He's still going strong, too, as he's currently in the midst of his fourth reign as Intercontinental champion.

These two met a time or two on Raw during Flair's later run with the promotion in 2005. He went over in a notable singles match in May of that year. Will he replicate that success here?
