The Young Bucks shocked the CHIKARA world earlier this month when they upended F.I.ST. for the Campeonatos de Parejas during the main event of Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur.

The combination of Johnny Gargano and Chuck Taylor were in their second reign atop the CHIKARA tag team division, the only duo to have won the titles twice in their over five year history.

The Young Bucks' -- Matt and Nick Jackson -- victory was impressive but would have never happened if they hadn't earned three points.

Tag teams in CHIKARA must win three straight contests -- earning a point for each victory -- to earn a shot at the champions.

The Jackson brothers did exactly that when they scored two pinfalls in a four-team elimination bout at The Contaminated Cowl. Their trek toward the titles, though, began at Hot Off the Griddle when they defeated the tandem on Arik Cannon and Darin Corbin the night before.
