Geno here.

Broadcast is live.

A video package airs celebrating the first decade of TNA's existence.

Naturally, we open with Hulk Hogan. He takes forever to get to the ring and the folks in Texas -- including our very own Sergio Hernandez -- are going wild for him.

Just like he was doing on Impact this past Thursday, Hogan says this is a celebration. "The next 10 years is going to be twice as awesome, brother."

This crowd is pretty hot, at least.

Hogan says he's been around the block a few times and this company is shooting to the moon. As the General Manager, he loves pushing buttons. The first button he'll push is for the first match because he's decided to go old school.

So up first, it's Joe vs. Aries but the button he's going to push is that the match is now for the title.

Samoa Joe vs. Austin Aries -- Both guys get good responses. This crowd is making this feel like an actual event, instead of that heat killing Impact Zone in Orlando.

I don't know if it is or not, but the ring looks smaller than normal.

These two really put on a show early. Joe in control until Aries sends him out of the ring on a hurricanrana. He tries a suicide dive but Joe drills him with a kick right when he gets there.

That was pretty.

Joe in control again back in the ring. Hits a big running boot in the corner. Keeps working Aries over until Austin teases a comeback but gets snap slammed to the mat.

Seriously, this crowd is awesome.

Aries finally hits his suicide dive. Dueling chants break out for both guys. Aries hits a neckbreaker on the ropes then a missile dropkick off the top. He keeps the pressure on but Joe catches him in the corner for a big running slam. That only gets two, though.

Holy shit, this crowd is HOT.

They chant for Joe until Aries comes back with strikes. Aries tries a suplex but Joe is too big. Big powerbomb from Joe gets two. Joe turns him over for a crab but then locks in an STF. Now he turns again and locks Aries arms up in a crucifix. He rolls again and gets a two count before breaking the hold.

Joe works Aries over in the corner with headbutts. Looks for the muscle buster but Aries fights out. No, Joe gets a kick and now it looks like they're going for a ride. Aries again tries to fight out. Joe gets knocked off and Aries comes down with a 450 splash.

1!

2!

JOE KICKS OUT!

The referee starts counting them out with both laying down for a rest spot. They get back up at 7 and the crowd breaks out into more dueling chants.

Joe locks in a rear choke but Aries goes back and almost gets a pin. Aries complains to the ref but ends up getting slammed. Joe puts him back up on the top rope and he looks for a muscle buster again. Aries climbs on his back and drops down for a big spot that looked nasty!

Aries hits a few kicks and drills Joe in the corner with a dropkick.

HOLY SHIT, HE HIT JOE WITH THE BRAIN BUSTER THAT WAS AWESOME RIGHT ON HIS SKULL HOLY BALLS ARIES WINS INSANE INSANITY.

Austin Aries def. Samoa Joe to retain X-Division championship

Singles action up next.

Kid Kash vs. Hernandez -- Tenay and Tazz are pushing hard the big returns of both guys. Hernandez is significantly bigger than Kash. They use it early by having him run into Kash and send him flying across the ring.

Hernandez is working power moves and slams early with Kash selling out for him big. Drop toe hold gives Kash the edge now. He ties up Hernandez's arm in the ropes. The ref counts him off and Kash bites Hernandez in the nose.

Okay.

Kash works the arm some more. Puts Hernandez on the ropes and hits a chop that sounds brutal. Hernandez responds with a receipt.

Hernandez eats a few more moves before finally making his comeback. Hernandez goes flying to the outside and nails Kash in a spot that looked awesome considering how tall Hernandez stands. He looks for his finish but Kash reverses. They go to the top rope and Hernandez hits a big splash off the top that gets the pin.

Hernandez def. Kid Kash

Oh, no. Tag action up next.

Robbie E and Robbie T vs. Garrett Bischoff and Devon -- Robbie E starts with Garrett and it's not long before Robbie T comes in while the crowd chants "You can't wrestle" at Garrett. This is a smart crowd that doesn't like this kid. They even cheer when Robbie E cheats against him. Devon chants start ringing out while my partner in crime Sergio reports from Arlington that the crowd is so hot for this show "it's weird."

Agreed.

Robbie E comes back in and Madison Rayne walks out to the top of the ramp to watch the match and look ... pretty ... I guess.

Bischoff continues getting tossed, with Robbie T back in and crushing him. He hits a side slam and Robbie E tags in and comes off the top rope for a two count. Devon has to make the save.

Sleeper hold now and the hot tag badly needs to get her. Garrett is trying his best to win the crowd back but it's just not happening. The heels have been in control the whole way. Finally, Bischoff counters Robbie E and gets the hot tag to Devon.

The crowd pops big for him and he comes in to destroy Robbie E. He also knocks Robbie T off the apron. Lou Thesz press into a diving headbutt. Bookend hits and he starts clapping before a splash in the corner and another shoulder block.

The ensuing pinfall attempt is broke up by Robbie T but he's sent out by Bischoff, who hits a crossbody. Devon gets a terrible looking spinebuster and that gets the three count.

The babyfaces hug after the match and start dancing in the ring like idiots.

Devon and Garrett Bischoff def. Robbie E and Robbie T

Backstage and Jeremy Borash is with Daniels and Kazarian. They interview but don't say much of anything.

Triple threat number one contender match up next. God, I want to change it already with Anderson's entrance.

Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Rob Van Dam -- Slick little opening. Hardy flips a coin and after looking at what it landed on, he attacks RVD. His face paint is distracting and looks so silly. I have no idea how he's so over with the pro wrestling fanbase.

Hardy controls the early going here. Anderson comes in with a spinning neckbreaker. Tries the same on RVD but he gets driven into the corner. Van Dam then sends Hardy into the opposite corner and hits him with a spinning kick.

Tazz -- "He'll knock off some of the funky paint of the face of Hardy's face."

Good one, Tazz.

Hardy fights back and gets on the top rope only to see Anderson go up with him for a superplex. RVD comes in and looks for a powerbomb but Anderson fights him off while Hardy gets racked. Anderson knocks RVD out and superplexes Hardy anyway. RVD rushes in to try to hit a splash on both downed men but they roll away and now all three guys are down in the ring.

A "This is wrestling" chant breaks out while the three continue to alternate offense. Awesome spot with RVD hitting a spin kick on Hardy to drop him before flipping Anderson across the ring on top of the downed Hardy.

The ensuing pin attempt only gets two.

Now it's Anderson's turn to get the advantage. He sends RVD out and gets a two count on Hardy. If he wins, we riot.

Anderson ends up on the outside with RVD while Hardy climbs up the ropes and leaps to the outside down onto the them.

Hardy back in the ring with RVD and he hits the Whisper in the Wind. Only gets a two count. "This is awesome" chant. Oh, Twist of Fate from Hardy and he takes his shirt off to try the Swanton Bomb. It connects but Anderson stops the ref from counting the fall and the referee acts like that's a legitimate way to stop the count.

Anderson sends Hardy out and hits RVD with the Mic Check to get the win.

That was garbage. What a terribly stupid finish.

Mr. Anderson def. Jeff Hardy and RVD

Crimson backstage interview talking about how he's been perfect for over 470 days. He's next in the open challenge.

Crimson comes out and gets on the microphone. "They said everything's bigger in Texas and they weren't lying. I'm looking at the biggest group of losers I've ever seen." He tries to get heat by calling out the Rangers, Mavericks and Cowboys.

Cheap.

He says he'll wait until someone accepts his challenge. The crowd starts chanting for Goldberg.

IT'S JAMES STORM!!!

Well, Crimson said he would fight a "Cowboy."

He comes out to a solid ovation. This is good booking, but if he jobs here, that will be ridiculous. Also kind of weird to end the streak tonight.

Crimson vs. James Storm -- Storm doesn't even take his coat off. He just comes out smashing Crimson. Chops in the corner. He turns his back and that's when Crimson gets in on the action.

He sends Storm to the other side and Storm hits a clothesline. Inverted atomic drop. Storm pumps the crowd up and he hits the Last Call.

The streak is over.

James Storm def. Crimson

On the one hand, that streak didn't mean much of anything. On the other, how do you end it with a glorified squash?

Backstage, they ask Aries what's next for him. He says he wants to be the man. He wants to set the bar. He wants to be the main event and he'll do anything he has to do to get there because "I am the greatest man that ever lived."

Greatest man "who" ever lived, Austin.

Only four matches to go.

Dixie Carter comes out while Mike Tenay puts over the TNA crew.

"Thank you, Dixie" chants break out when her music stops. She says this is a surreal moment for her and her family. She also announces this is the largest live crowd in TNA history in the United States.

She calls out the entire locker room damn near and they're all hanging out at the top of the ramp for the introduction of the Hall of Fame and the first ever inductee.

And the first inductee is ...

...

Sting.

They run video of guys putting Sting over.

Cut back to the arena and he comes down to the ring getting a standing ovation. Dixie in the ring puts him over some more. She says she thinks he's doing some of his finest work ever, reinventing himself again and again.

She also reveals they'll have the formal induction celebration at Bound for Glory.

Sting thanks everyone and says he just wants to entertain everyone. Promises that tonight will be showtime.

Time for the ladies.

Gail Kim vs. Brooke Tessmacher -- They get rolling with Kim in control early. Tessmacher comes back but the champion takes over and hits a neckbreaker on the ropes. Shoulder breaker across the knee from Kim. She turns it into a submission that looks better than anything the guys were doing.

Tessmacher battles out, though, and attempts a comeback but Kim snuffs that out. She locks in a head scissors submission. Turns it over and this pace is entirely too slow.

Kim gets heat by blowing kisses to the crowd but Tessmacher hits a DDT and now she's coming back with forearms. Big clotheslines put her in control. Dropkick sends Kim into the corner. She looks for a suplex but Kim counters and points and laughs at her.

Neckbreaker from Kim and Tessmacher is selling like she's really injured. She's believable, at least.

Kim sends her to the outside and the pacing of this match is just terrible.

Kim sits on the ropes but tells the referee she doesn't want to win via countout, she would rather pin Tessmacher. So she goes out and grabs her and brings her back in the ring. She picks her up but gets reversed into a roll up and that gets the pin.

Brooke Tessmacher def. Gail Kim to win Knockouts championship

They do an immediate post-match interview and Tessmacher says it's epic to win in her home state. Puts over the TNA roster as the best. Oh, and god bless Texas.

Backstage for more Borash and Bully Ray shows up to shut him up.

Time for the Abyss angle.

Joseph Park vs. Bully Ray -- Gotta give credit where it's due here, Abyss has done a great job of getting the Joseph Park character over. The crowd chants that the Yankees suck before the bell.

The bell rings and here we go.

Ray antagonizes Park into trying to hit him. Park attempts to do so and misses badly. So Ray slaps him and Park again starts swinging on him. Again, he misses badly and Ray bullies him by slapping him.

This time, Ray puts his hands behind his back. He still slaps him and then spits on him. Another slap. And another. Park really plays this all up.

Ray runs at him and Park gets out of the way and hits Ray with a big slap. Ray runs over and knocks Park down but continues selling the slap like he's incredulous it ever happened.

Time for Bully to do his thing on a helpless Park.

Ray keeps beating on him until a spot with Park getting his hands on a chair. He never gets the chance to use it, though, because Ray begs him not to and it creates an opening for Ray to knock him over to grab the chair for himself.

After a couple of chair shots, Ray and Park go to the outside. Ray beats on him and once they go back in, Ray goes up top. He comes off and misses his mark. Park gets spurned on by the crowd and he explodes with a flurry of offense. The crowd gets behind him but Ray comes back with a big boot that put both guys on their ass.

Uh oh. Ray goes under the ring and he's got a table and a kendo stick. The crowd starts chanting E-C-W! E-C-W!

Ray goes to hit Park with the kendo stick but Park hits him in the balls. He grabs the kendo stick and drills Ray in the head with it. He dives on for the pinfall but only gets two.

Ray hits Park and he goes rolling out of the ring. He ends up rolling underneath it altogether.

Suddenly out the other side climbs Abyss. Ray doesn't see him. He turns around and with a shocked look he screams, "What the hell?!?!?"

Abyss chokeslams him through the table and then bails back under the ring.

At this point, Park climbs back out from under the ring and sees Ray laying in the ring and covers him for the pin.

Joseph Park def. Bully Ray

Backstage and Bobby Roode cuts a promo talking about how tonight TNA is celebrating a decade of existence and a new Hall of Fame and all that but what they should be celebrating is him.

Oh, joy, more Hulk Hogan.

He comes out and says he promised nothing but surprises tonight and he's got one more for us. He then introduces Christian Cage.

He comes out doing his old mannerisms. Folks in the stands know the CC sign and throw it up for him.

Tazz claims he didn't know Christian was coming. So I guess he doesn't follow Dixie Carter on Twitter. Or read the Internet.

Christian gets on the mic and asks the people to guess the question he's been asked the most this week. Is he going to appear at Slammiversary. Well drink it in. Who would have thunk it, huh?

He says the ring might have changed, the venues might change and the folks coming down to the ring might change, but the fans are the one constant. He says everyone should give themselves a round of applause.

Sorry, Christian, not that much of a mark for myself.

Christian gets the honor of introducing the video clip of the number one moment in TNA history. And, of course, it's Sting's big return in 2006.

After the video, they cut straight to the promo for the tag team match coming up.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian vs. AJ Styles and Kurt Angle -- Styles rushes the ring upon his entrance and the match starts with him and Kazarian. A side roll from Kazarian gets a two count but Styles takes control with a spinning kick to the head and a dropkick to Daniels, who tried to run in.

My Internet totally deuced out on me. Apologies, Cagesiders, as I've missed everything since shortly after this one got underway.

Daniels looks for a moonsault but lands on his feet. Angle hits a belly-to-back suplex that sends him flying. Styles with a kick to the head on Kazarian and Angle hits a splash. The ref goes to count the pin but Daniels grabs the referee. Styles then springboards off the rope into a big dive on the outside.

Back in the ring and Kazarian ends up in the Ankle Lock. Angle grapevines and Kazarian fights for a minute before tapping out.

Kurt Angle and AJ Styles def. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian to win the TNA tag team championships

Promo runs for the main event. Some of it is the same stuff that ran for his Hall of Fame induction promo. So lazy.

Bobby Roode vs. Sting -- Roode opens by drawing Sting to the outside before rushing him to try to take control. It doesn't last long, as Sting quickly ends up throwing him around into the cheap guard rails.

It really sucks the crowd is so dead at this point. They've been troopers all night.

Just as I say that, they start chanting for Sting while he continues throwing Roode around the ring. Scorpion Death Lock attempt fails and Roode rolls out of the ring. He tries to walk away from the match but Sting runs him down and continues kicking his ass.

Roode finally gets some offense in by racking Sting on the ropes. He takes over control and starts in with kicks. Strong elbow across the jaw on the apron. They're working fairly slow here. Sting selling soft for Roode. He plays to the crowd after a snapmare.

After some back and forth, Roode goes up top and Sting goes with him for a superplex. Right after, Sting gets the Scorpion Death Lock. Roode teases tapping multiple times. He finally makes it to the ropes, however, and quickly bails out again. But, as has been the case all along, Sting chases him down and stays relentless up the ramp.

Now they're brawling on the stage. The referee isn't even counting them out. The crowd starts chanting that Sting still has it. So he hits Roode with a Stinger Splash on the guard rail. Now they're up on the broadcast table and Sting manages to put on the Scorpion Death Lock on top of it. Roode taps so Sting lets him go but the referee says it has to come in the ring.

Roode, meanwhile, grabs a six-pack of beer bottles left behind by Storm and tries to hit Sting with one. Sting stops him and goes to use it himself but the referee grabs it before Sting can and puts it away.

This gives Roode time to use a different bottle and that shot is enough to get Roode the pin to retain his belt.

Bobby Roode def. Sting to retain the TNA heavyweight championship

Sting bladed because he's got color now and he sends Roode to the outside with a clothesline before nailing the referee. Now he's running Roode down again and beating him up around the arena. That includes a Scorpion Death Drop off the stage with Sting hitting his head on a corner.

Ouch.

Sting walks around, hands on hips, while personnel check on Roode.

End.
