Well, that was certainly a week.
Televised pro wrestling/sports entertainment was a mixed bag that started with a controversial RAW main event and ended with an enjoyable TNA Pay-Per-View (PPV). Poll-a-mania ran wild at Cageside Seats (CSS) as the Pro Wrestling Tournament was launched and brought with it a lot of great discussion. Got another few clicks in YOU? The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) wants to know who YOU think had the best week.
What constitutes the "best week"? We're going to steal pull a quote from a comment made in one of last week's tournament posts by Cagesider thejasten to answer that:
Who knows? But in the discussion, we flesh it out a bit through comparison on every level imaginable. The results add to our understanding of the business as a whole, which in turn adds to our enjoyment. It’s all about thinking about and analyzing wrestling on multiple levels. There is no mathematical equation that can be used to judge aesthetic value of an art, like wrestling.
So, place YOUR vote below and then jump to see who YOU voted as the best performer of last week and how that effected YOUR annual S3
Remember, the poll is for the previous week - the June 4th RAW, Impact! from the 7th, the Smackdown that aired on Friday June 8th and TNA's Slammiversary PPV.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
The ratings may have dipped when he rampaged through the WWE, but YOU Smarks were impressed enough to keep him atop the S3 for a second consecutive week. The hint of a rise up the card was enough to give Dolph Ziggler his best ever finish, and YOU rewarded AJ's thespian talents with the highest ranking ever for a Diva or Knockout.

3. Dolph Ziggler

The annual Standings remain a two horse race, but CM Punk is able to close the gap a little thanks to Daniel Bryan falling out of YOUR fave five for the first time last week.
