Radar_large_medium

The big news this weekend in rasslin' news outside WWE and TNA is of course, CHIKARA's second ever internet pay-per-view (iPPV) Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur going down tomorrow (June 2) at 7pm ET.

And you know -- YOU KNOW -- Cageside will be here providing blow by blow action but for only $15 bucks -- or a fourth of the cost of a WWE show -- you can catch the action live thanks to our friends at GFL.tv. So ORDER ORDER ORDER.

The card looks to be one of the best CHIKARA has ever put together and on paper, looks to be a candidate for the Show of the Year Award coming January 2013.

Assuming The Batiri haven't destroyed the world by then.

Check out full lineup, videos, the whole shebangabang -- as well as the latest from Ring of Honor (ROH), DragonGate USA (DGUSA)/EVOLVE, Beyond Wrestling, and Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW) after the freakin' jump.

WRESTLING~!

CHIKARA

Mike Quackenbush and company get top billing this time around because this is a pretty big weekend for my second favorite wrestling company. Sorry, Chikarmy, but ACW has stolen my heart.

Check out the line-up for tomorrow's show:

10-man tag match: Eddie Kingston, Jigsaw and The Colony (Green Ant/Fire Ant/Soldier Ant) vs. GEKIDO (The Shard, 17, assailANT, combatANT, deviANT)

Lucha de Apuesta - Mask vs. Hair: Hallowicked vs. Tim Donst

Campeonatos de Parejas match: F.I.S.T. (c) vs. The Young Bucks

Ladder match: Gran Akuma vs. Icarus with Gregory Iron as special guest referee

Intergender (Interspecies?) Handicap match: Sara Del Rey and Saturyne vs. The Batiri (Obariyon/Kodama/Kobald)

UltraMantis Black vs. Ophidian!

(Pinned) Loser Leaves Town match: Colt Cabana and Mixed Martial Archie vs. The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield/"Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti

Here is the latest -- and last -- CRex Report with the lovely Veda Scott (Also check out Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4)

What match am I looking forward to the most?

Oh, good gravy, you're going to make me pick, aren't you?

Tell you what... I'll give you a reason why each and every single match on this card has piqued my interest.

The Loser Leaves Tag Match: I am a huge, HUGE, HUGE Robert Evans mark. His Mixed Martial Archie character is so damn good. Also, the added stipulation makes one wonder if the cagefighter will make his exit only for Archibald Peck to return or if a certain returning b-baller -- hint, it's Suger Dunkerton -- will help bounce Mr. Touchdown out and help The Throwbacks return from the rudo path they're taking.

UltraMantis Black is a fellow vegan so of course he's a favorite of mine.

Handicap match? The Batiri have been running their mouths for months now and the scuttlebutt is a returning Daizee Haze might even up the odds.

Ladder match. 'Nuff said. Also, who doesn't love a good grudge match? And Gregory Iron is the special guest referee!

Campeonatos de Parejas match... two great teams doing what they do. Might be the match of the night on this potential card of the year.

MASK VS. HAIR~!

10 man tag team match where GEKIDO might be unmasked or land a potentially lethal blow to CHIKARA?

Oh, man, I AM SO STOKED FOR THIS CARD~! You seriously need to order it.

Ring of Honor (ROH)

Only one show separates us from Best in the World 2012... or should I say, Hostage Crisis as ROH World Champion Kevin Steen has dubbed it. It goes down June 24 in New York City and aside from the already signed match between Steen and former champion Davey Richards, a few other interesting matches have been signed.

Former champions Homicide and Eddie Edwards will collide for the first time as well as a "Hybrid Rules" match between former Future Shock partners Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly. I'm not sure what is meant by the description but if it's anything like an old school PANCRASE fight, this has win written all over it.

A World TV title three-way between champion Roderick Strong, Jay Lethal and Tommaso Ciampa will also go down.

Here's what goes down on June 15 in Charleston, WV

ROH World Championship Match: Kevin Steen (c) vs. Eddie Edwards
Texas Death Match - The Final Encounter: Jay Briscoe vs. Charlie Haas
Jay Lethal vs. Michael Elgin
Four Corners Proving Ground Match: Roderick Strong vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Kyle O'Reilly vs. Adam Cole
Davey Richards vs. Mike Mondo
The All Night Express (Rhett Titus/Kenny King) vs. C&C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman/Cedric Alexander)

Also, check out this video from Steve Corino (and Veda Scott, any excuse to post her in an article) explaining his actions from Border Wars where he embraced Steen following his title win:

Dragon Gate USA/EVOLVE

DGUSA won't return until late July -- both shows will be live on iPPV -- but EVOLVE has a triple shot of shows this month to keep your appetites whet.

June 28, 29 and 30, EVOLVE invades Florida!

EVOLVE 14, 15 and 16 go down at the end of this month and some talent have already been signed.

Johnny Gargano, Chuck Taylor, COLT CABANA are only a few names expected to see action inside the EVOLVE ring that weekend.

The first show -- June 28 -- will be live on iPPV and company officials are working to see if the other two will get the same treatment.

Beyond Wrestling

Everyone's favorite experimental wrestling promotion is teaming up with ACW sister promotion St. Louis Anarchy for Double Trouble on June 16. And they have HELLUVA main event.

Johnny Gargano... of Open the Freedom Gate Championship and F.I.S.T. fame...

vs.

ACH... of ACW World Champion and pretty much being a bad ass fame.

If you're in or near Cleveland, OH and you're not at this show... I dunno, man. I just don't know.

Here's the rest of the card:

Mark Angel vs. Drew Gulak
St. Louis Anarchy Championship Match: St. Louis Anarchy Champion Dan Walsh vs. Rickey Shane Page
RD Evans vs. Johnny Cockstrong
Six Man Mayhem: Arik Cannon, Darin Corbin, Christian Rose vs. Pierre Abernathy, Evan Gelistico, Gary Jay (SUBMISSION SQUAD FTW~!)
Eight Man Melee: Corvis Fear, Jonny Mangue, Chase Burnett, Zane Silver vs. The Pitboss, Matthew Justice, dany only, Stryknyn
Davey Vega and Mat Fitchet vs. Alex Castle and Mat Cage vs. Devin Cutter and Mason Cutter
Aaron Epic, Sugar Dunkerton, Pinkie Sanchez vs. KJ Crush, Jack Verville, Maserati Rick
School Of Roc Summit: Remi Wilkins, Dale Patricks, Miss Heidi vs. Reed Bentley, Tripp Cassidy, Nate Stone

Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW)

Queen of motherf'n Queens.

This American Joshi tournament, now in its fourth year, brings the best of the best in women's wrestling and gives them a proper showcase.

Four participants up until earlier this week were already known: TNA veteran Christina Von Erie, WWE veteran Jazz and ACW mainstays Athena (my pick to win it all this year) and Su Yung.

Then ACW dropped a bomb with the final four.

Last year's Queen of Queens champion Rachel Summerlyn was a given. As was the recently reawakened Lady Poision. As expected as their participation was, it's still awesome they're in it.

But Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) Champion Jessicka Havoc and Veda Scott?

In addition to to the tournament, American Joshi Champion Angel Blue takes on Portia Perez!

I can't wait to see this with my very own eyes on June 24.

That's it for this weeks, Cagesiders. Anything in your neck of the woods I missed?
