Remember tag team wrestling?
Back in the day, two guys would join forces and take on other equally-minded wrestlers. Demolition, The Hart Foundation, Doom, The Road Warriors, The Midnight Express, The Rock and Roll Express... these teams were insanely popular.
But yet, the art of tag team wrestling is mostly lost on WWE and TNA. Thankfully, it's alive and well in CHIKARA.
Their Campeonato de Parejas were, up until last November, the only championship gold available in the promotion and have always been hotly contested.
It was no different in March when Green Ice took place from Vaughn, ONT and saw champs F.I.S.T. -- represented by Chuck Taylor and Icarus -- taking on the challenge of the team of Shane Matthews and Scott Parker, collectively known as 3.0.
This match and its historic finish are highlighted in this week's Podcast-A-Go-Go as well as a tag bout pitting 17 and The Shard against UltraMantis Black and Hallowicked.
