The S3 Kisses Its Sister, Only YOUR VOTE Can Help!

World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) event brought an abundance of ties to the Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) for the week of April 30. After the jump you can see some of the surprising names who garnered equal support last week.

Plus, the year-long standings are starting to have enough numbers to be really interesting.

All that, and YOUR chance to VOTE! Will the poll for last week be the line of demarcation for the beginning of the John Laurinaitis Era? Or will YOU Smarks be able to control yourself?

These are YOUR standings -- what are you waiting for?

Wins and losses mean nothing to the "American Dragon," while the head of the Cenation needs to bleed hardway (maybe?) and a big 'W' to crack the S3.

The S3 - Week Ending April 29

1. (tie) Daniel Bryan
1. (tie) John Cena
2. (tie) CM Punk
2. (tie) Cody Rhodes
3. Layla
4. (tie) Chris Jericho
4. (tie) Kofi Kingston
4. (tie) Sheamus
4. (tie) Santino Marella
4. (tie) Dolph Ziggler

Nobody got all bunged up about the qualifications for the S3 that I laid down last week, and we even saw a slight uptick in votes, so here's what we're working with for the foreseeable future:

A wrestler must appear on a nationally televised pro wrestling program (currently WWE RAW, Smackdown or TNA Impact) or a PPV promoted on one of those shows to be included. Those receiving votes in the prior week will appear in the poll, unless they do not appear on television during the week that the poll covers. Wrestlers playing a major role in a story or angle, given significant promo time or involved in a lengthy and/or widely acclaimed match will be listed on the poll regardless of whether or not they received votes in the prior week. If YOU smarks think we've excluded someone, cast YOUR vote for that person in the comments, and state YOUR case for why that vote should count. Provided a decent justification, YOUR vote will be tabulated and that wrestler will be listed in the next poll.

Wrestlers who place in the weekly S3 will accumulate points toward our year-long Wrestler of the Year. The point system is explained in an old post, that you can find here. But, I know y'all trust me, so let's just look at the latest...

The S3 Wrestler of the Year - through the Week Ending April 29

1. Daniel Bryan - 28.5 points
2. CM Punk - 24.5
3. Brock Lesnar - 16.5
4. Mark Henry - 11.5
5. John Cena - 11
6. Chris Jericho - 10
7. Lord Tensai - 9.5
8. Dolph Ziggler - 9
9. Bobby Roode - 8
10. Cody Rhodes - 7.5

Two debuts, with the former Dr. of Thuganomics leaping into the top 5 and the "Dashing One" just cracking the list. The TNA Champ is barely holding onto the bottom of the standings -- will he keep the Orlando fed in the conversation? Or will the talent and charisma that garettbischoffisabadass has been telling us about translate into votes?

Remember, the poll is for the previous week - the April 30th RAW, Impact! from May 3rd, and the Smackdown that aired on Friday the 4th of May.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!
