We all knew Dixie Carter (TnA's head honcho) loves Twitter. Since Scott Steiner's release last week from TnA he's been throwing grenades that would make most Marine's proud. That didn't stop today. The brunt of his attacks were launched at Hulk Hogan, of course, but also getting honorable mentions were the Bischoff's and OJ.

If the part about TnA wanting to take over people's twitter account is real then there will probably be some sort of backlash with their fan base. We all knew that management would encourage people to put out some messages but to out right create and monitor an account for person the caliber of Sting, that screams of deception to say the very least. This does sound like marks who run around creating fake social media accounts for famous celebs and athletes, to think TnA would stoop so low as to do that, it really should surprise many of us who followed this company from its infancy. Scott Steiner may have opened a can of worms the like no one was prepared for. Who else is this company pretending to be? What are the things being said on those accounts? Who in management is accountable for the content being released? I ask that very important question because we all know a certain red & yellow'd outfitted individual who wouldn't be above burying a guy on his (insert wrestler here) own Twitter account. What if you thought you were talking to Sting only to find out it was Russo?

I was shocked to have learned that Sting opened a Twitter account. He comes across as a very selfish person professionally. I personally never understood why TnA gave so much to Sting. It seemed with each new contract he signed a title run was imminent. Its not that he didn't have star power, but when Sting came in his power was more like a star who had supernova'd and then burnt out. I contended that he didn't do anything to bring in any revenue for the company. He only wrestled at the Impact Zone where you get in for free, and also at PPV. He didn't do anything on the road, he certainly never did the tv shows, the radio shows, the autograph signings, he didn't wrestle house shows. If a guy isn't willing to do those sort of things for an up and coming business, then it would make sense not to pay for that guy. Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle who had a lot more star power coming into TnA that Sting did all of the above mentioned and then some. Then again word was Spike TV flipped the bill for Sting because they wanted him on their program.
