Don't expect to see Rey Mysterio next month as he originally planned.
Straight from the horse's mouth at WWE.com:
In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) for 60 days effective Thursday, April 26 for his second violation of the company's policy.
Mysterio's first violation came on August 2, 2009 and he was suspended for 30 days. With his second violation, the suspension time is doubled while a third would lead to the Mexican-American getting his pink slip.
The former World Heavyweight Champion explained away the violation by stating he had a prescription for what he was popped for but couldn't produce it as he was on a promotional tour with the company.
I wonder what his story will be this time around.
We'll keep monitoring the situation, Cagesiders, and bring you new information as it becomes available.
