Even people outside of the wrestling industry think the Divas division is a joke.
When it was announced the lead actors from the new The Three Stooges film would be making an appearance on last week's (April 9) episode of Raw, wrestling fans across the globe let out a collective groan.
But somehow, the appearance was actually worse than anticipated and brought absolutely nothing to the show aside from Will Sasso eating a chokeslam from Kane. The episode of Raw was the example of a perfect dichotomy between great wrestling TV -- the opening segment which featured a pull-apart brawl between Brock Lesnar and John Cena -- and the worst kind of wrestling TV which is guest stars who couldn't care less to be there.
Sean Hayes went on TBS talk show Conan Wednesday night (April 18) and discussed his evening in WWE. Playing the character of Larry as he does in the Stooges flick, he discussed being booed unmercilessly by the crowd and the confidence the muscle-bound goliaths must possess to strut around in what are described as "Speedos."
The best part was when Hayes -- most famously known for playing Jack McFarland on Will and Grace -- began describing a WWE Divas match using air quotes when describing it as wrestling. I can't say I disagree with him there.
CM Punk charged back with the following tweet:
Holy crap, so the douche who's playing Larry in the stooges movie says he was embarrassed to be on raw? But he's in the stooges movie?!!??"
Just Jack vs. Punk, WrestleMania 29. Book it.
