And despite his presence, we can't blame it on special guest referee Shawn Michaels.
Longtime World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) veteran The Undertaker put his undefeated streak on the line for the second straight year against Triple H earlier this evening at WrestleMania 28, which emanated live from the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.
It was billed as "The end of an era" and booked as a "Hell in the Cell" match, but what it all boiled down to was Taker's desire to get revenge on "The Game," despite beating him, for the brutal beatdown he received at last year's big show.
Mission accomplished.
It was the hellacious back-and-forth match fans expected (chairs, stairs and missing hairs), but in the end, Trips couldn't seal the deal against the Deadman and well, became just another victim, kid.
Match of the year? Or just same old, same old?
