The latest episode of WWE Superstars from March 8, 2012, features a main event of Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston. And while I'm often criticized around these parts for praising Ziggler far too boisterously, matches like this just reaffirm my belief in how very good this man is.
Seriously, how many guys on the roster are going to get this good a match out of Kingston, a solid but not spectacular worker? This was a pay-per-view quality match and depending on the show, it's a "Match of the Night."
Cementing Ziggler's greatness, at least in my eyes, is his willingness to job. While I don't necessarily think he should be losing matches like this, his abilities almost force WWE's hand. He made Kingston look like a superstar.
In other action, Justin Gabriel went over on Heath Slater, who has to be one of the guys on the chopping block when the company makes its big roster cuts, right? I just don't see any upside, even if they booked him properly.
Finally, Ted DiBiase takes on Jinder Mahal. It was reported on some sites this was the match in which he suffered his broken ankle but I don't see anything to support that.
Either way, enjoy the show, Cagesiders.
