Apparently, every star from yesteryear is making a return to WWE in some form or another.

Earlier today, reports surfaced that a major former star was in town and he was being picked up by WWE people. Some speculated that Brock Lesnar was that man, thanks to his being in negotiations with the company, but the Wrestling Observer is reporting it's someone else.

None other than "The Animal," Dave Batista.

Whether or not he's going to be a part of WrestleMania 28 on Sunday night (April 1, 2012) at Sun Life Stadium is a mystery but if he's getting picked up by company officials, something must be in the works, for now or for later. It's interesting to note, at the very least, that The Rock's last WrestleMania match was against Batista while Batista's last WrestleMania match was against John Cena.
