Cageside's favorite resident of Planet Funk, Brodus Clay, was funky and loud on the latest episode of Foreign Exchange with United States champion and captain of Team Teddy in WrestleMania 28's 12-man tag team match, Santino. Beyond Clay's appearance, Santino was also hoping to get down and funky with the Funk Ladies.
Another highlight of the show was when Clay revealed the particulars of how and why he transformed from a Superstar wrecking behemoth to the smiling, dancing lug we have come to love.
"You know, 'The Funkasaurus' was mad all the time ... and it's so much energy and it's so consuming. And then after a while you're mad for so long you don't really know what you're made about. And Brodus Clay, he was always mad because he never had opportunities and he was sidestepped ... and he was never 'the' guy. Then all of a sudden, he was 'the' guy and he didn't have anything to be mad about ... Whenever I actually sat back and just relaxed, I realized I'm not really that upset."
WrestleMania 28 is only a week away (April 1). Any chance we might see "The Funkasaurus" on the grandest stage of them all?
