Video: WWE Superstars for March 22, 2012, featuring Drew McIntyre, Alex Riley and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix

Now this is the WWE Superstars I'm used to.

Some greenhorns like Mason Ryan, a weird thing called a tag team match where two wrestlers join forces to face two other guys -- WEIRD, I know -- and a four minute Divas match.

Of course, what's a great sundae with the perfect cherry on top? In this case, it's a deeply meaningful match-up between Drew McIntyre and Ezekiel Jackson serving as the main event.

After seeing Dolph Ziggler take on Kofi Kingston two weeks ago and Divas Champion Beth Phoenix actually get a suitable amount of time in her main event against Kelly Kelly last week, we're back to the usual offering. I suppose nothing gold can stay.

I mean, without Superstars we may never well never see Yoshi Tatsu in action. I enjoy the Superstar but if my Cageside colleague is correct in predicting post-WrestleMania roster cut, I can't help but think the Japanese wrestler will soon find himself unemployed.

Decent episode of Superstars but a stark drop in quality from the past couple of weeks. Oh, and Eve nearly kills Tamina with the sloppiest damn moonsault I've ever seen. Knee right in the cooter, OUCH!

Full video after the jump, Cagesiders.
