WrestleMania 28 is less than two weeks away and WWE is putting the finishing touches on the big card.
Over on Raw, CM Punk and Chris Jericho are amping up their rivalry over the WWE Title while Triple H, The Undertaker and special guest referee Shawn Michaels promise to give fans a Hell in a Cell match they won't soon forget.
In the Smackdown universe, Daniel Bryan is hoping to fend off the challenge of Sheamus in their World Heavyweight Championship bout in Miami and Randy Orton looks to overcome a big, red obstacle known by the name Kane.
This Friday (March 23), the two worlds collide as Punk teams up with Sheamus to take on the tandem on Bryan and The Miz.
Courtesy of ProWrestling.net, find out how the main event goes down as well as everything else! Oh, a certain dancing dinosaur may or may not show. SHOULD YOU READ THIS?!
Full spoilers after the jump!
World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan came out with the lovely A.J. and cut a promo on his WrestleMania 28 opponent, Sheamus. A.J. said her boo was going to make "Great White" tap. That brought the challenger out who called Bryan a coward and promised he would go from being called "champion" to "former champion."
Mark Henry defeated R-Truth in a really short match.
Yokozuna as the latest and likely last WWE Hall of Fame inductee for the Class of 2012.
It was revealed Zack Ryder and The Great Khali are officially Team Long in the 12-man tag match at WrestleMania. I suppose Rey Mysterio couldn't get healed up enough for the date. Or maybe Team Laurinaitis will fear Khali is too much of a threat -- despite his awful win/loss record -- and try to take him out before the match leading to a last-minute booyakah booyakah replacement.
A.J. makes it two for two on the Bella Twins, picking up the win over Brie. Bryan served to distract the genetic anomaly and then celebrated post-match more than his sexier half. Loving the cocky, arrogant D-Bry.
Ryder came out for a match and defeated Jack Swagger. For some reason, Hornswaggle came out with Ryder and ended up arguing with Vickie Guerrero. You know what? Once I actually see that awesome visual, I'll understand why the little guy came out in the first place.
The Big Show won via disqualification in his Raw rematch against Kane when Rhodes came out and attacked him. Show chased him through the crowd and I suppose Kane was enthralled by it all because he was too distracted to see Randy Orton sneak inside the ring. Orton hit Kane with an RKO.
SOMEBODY CALL MY MAMA~! "The Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay came out and squashed Heath Slater.
The Great Khali ended up beating Dolph Ziggler by countout when John Laurinaitis tried to "Montreal Screwjob" the Punjabi Prowler with a phantom tap. Teddy Long restarted the match and that's when Ziggler got counted out. Afterwards, Santino and Kofi Kingston shoved Ziggler back inside the ring and Khali nailed him with a chop.
And in the maaaaaaain event of the evening, the team of Punk and Sheamus defeated the team of Bryan and Miz with Sheamus nailing a Brogue Kick and pinning... you guessed it, Frank Stallone The Miz. Some nice cowardly antics from Bryan towards Sheamus as well during the match.
That wraps it up, Cagesiders. What do you think?
