This whole thing is very strange
It’s sad, that people are defending Chris Brown.

Strange indeed
I can’t defend Chris Brown because his comments are ignorant and unintelligent, but I tend to be more on his side for this whole exchange. I would break my feelings down as 0% CM Punk, 1% Chris Brown, and 99% stupid. CM Punk should not be praised as some kind of hero. I also find it odd that Punk takes Brown’s responses personally. Punk was the one that sent out a threatening tweet with no provocation. Brown’s response was so idiotic that he buried himself. I really don’t see the need for Punk to get all pissy about it, unless this is just for publicity.
It is also quite convenient how WWE forgot to mention the whole curb stomping threat in their article. I know WWE likes publicity, but I didn’t think they were leeches.
Silver lining: Perhaps this will be our generation’s Jerry Lawler vs Andy Kaufman.

You should watch this video before making any conclusions about Punk.
He expands further on what he said, and he kinda-sorta apologizes for bringing up violence, as he equates he fighting Chris Brown is just as big a mismatch as Brown beating up Rhianna.
Punk is a fighter; he responded aggressively after Chris Brown tweeted that silly insult about Punk being on steroids (obviously Brown has never looked at CM Punk before). I don’t see anything wrong with Punk milking the attention from this silly little twitter war, as well as setting straight a fool like Brown.
Good radio interview
After watching the interview, he does seem more clearheaded and rational. That leads me to believe his video is just a front for publicity. There is nothing wrong with milking the publicity. It’s just that you never really know what is real and what is fake in wrestling. One issue I do have is who appointed Punk judge, jury, and executioner? Something about it just rubs me the wrong way.

Loved how Cole tiptoed around the twitter war without bringing up Rhianna or abuse.
And kudos to Punk for being coming out so strongly against domestic abuse. Not saying I know 100% for sure that Chris Brown is guilty, but his attitude this whole time has been that he’s too big of a celebrity for anyone to bring it up, and I’m glad Punk is someone famous (and sincere) enough to get in his grill about it.
Have you read the police report
it’s rather cut and dry
