With World Championship Wrestling (WCW) a viable alternative with its deep pockets and growing company at the time, Randy Savage bid farewell to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Vince McMahon returned the favor on this date in history.
On November 7, 1994, World Wrestling Federation (WWF) Chairman Vince McMahon did something well, very un-Vince McMahon like.
He wished the late Randy Savage the best of luck (in his future endeavors).
What made it extraordinary is that he did it to open Monday Night Raw in a moment of genuine vulnerability, as the "Macho Man" had set sail for World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
Perhaps Vinny Mac has a heart after all -- or Savage was just that damn special. Maybe a little of both?
Any Cagesiders remember this date in WWF history?
