On this date in WWF history: Ken Shamrock submits Shawn Michaels on Monday Night Raw

Ken Shamrock wasn't only submitting fools in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), he was also doing it in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Fools like Shawn Michaels.

On November 3, 1997, Shawn Michaels tapped out to Ken Shamrock's ankle lock on Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately for "The World's Most Dangerous Man," the referee was distracted by Chyna, who joined the rest of D-Generation X at ringside to help "HBK" survive.

Turns out, all he needed was Rick Rude and a steel briefcase.

Shamrock, who believe it or not actually held the WWF Intercontinental Title, the WWF Tag Team Titles and even the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (under TNA), would finish his feud with Michaels at In Your House roughly a month later.

Anyone remember Shammy's stint in the WWF? And do you remember it fondly?
