The first episode of WWE Main Event in the month of December will feature another champion vs. champion match as Antonio Cesaro takes on Kofi Kingston.
Very quietly, WWE Main Event is one of the best pro wrestling shows on television.
That's because it's a one-hour quick hitter that features a couple promos and a couple wrestling matches before a brief set up for the next week's match. And WWE, like they failed so often to do in the past, has actually managed to keep up the star power on the show on a weekly basis.
Even John Cena worked a match last night (Nov. 28, 2012), defeating Damien Sandow. Antonio Cesaro pinned Zack Ryder on the same show, then cut a promo claiming to be the best champion in the company. This led Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston to challenge him to a match to prove his claims.
Just like that, the two will be featured on next week's show. Nice, easy, simple booking.
