WWE Main Event comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Nov. 28, 2012) at 8 p.m. ET on the Ion Television network for yet another weekly episodic program from the largest pro wrestling company in the world.

Tonight's show features the very first appearance of John Cena on the "C" show. Yes, WWE is actually sticking with its promise to deliver its biggest stars on the program.

Cena takes on Damien Sandow.

JBL and Michael Cole greet us and preview Cena vs. Sandow.

John Cena vs. Damien Sandow

Prior to the match, Damien Sandow begs our indulgence. He states that he is here to help of all of us. Sandow says that he has a quote from a true thinker, not that us nitwits would understand.

"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."

Sandow dropping some Socrates, folks.

He says he will defeat this false idol tonight, then reminds us that we are all welcome.

Bell rings.

Sandow gets a side headlock, but Cena brings him down with a snapmare into a sleeper. Sandow gets the rope break, then complains that Cena was pulling his hair.

Sandow goes outside to get some thinking done and discusses some things with the referee. Cena goes out to meet Sandow, but Sandow rolls back inside.

Back in the ring and lockup leads to a Cena arm wrench. Snapmare and Sandow cornered. Cena with the worst monkey flip I have ever seen. Sandow moves to the apron to regroup, then gets back to the middle of the ring. Cena with the side headlock. Shoulder tackle by Cena and Sandow decides to take a walk up the ramp.

Cena follows and brings Sandow back. He slams him into the corner and hits a running bulldog for a nearfall.

Sandow sent into the ropes and Cena goes for a back bodydrop. Kick from Sandow drops Cena and Sandow stomps away.

Sandow in control as we break.

We are back and Sandow downs Cena, following up with a cartwheel. Sandow drops the knee after rolling the kneepad down to earn a nearfall.

Sleeper in for Sandow. Cena fighting back to his feet. Cena breaks the hold and picks Sandow up for an AA. Sandow slips out and pulls Cena down on the back of his head for a nearfall. And another.

Sandow with some power stomps and strikes. Russian leg sweep and Elbow of Disdain earns Sandow another nearfall.

Sleeper in once again. Cena turns it around and starts landing strikes. Cena off the ropes and goes for his flying shoulder block, but Sandow ducks away and Cena rolls to the arena floor. Sandow taunting him in the ring. Cena back on the apron and Sandow kicking, but Cena gets the hangman's neckbreaker. Cena gets back inside, but Sandow trucks him with a clothesline. Sandow working the arm a bit, getting a nearfall.

Sandow again getting the sleeper. Cena tries to turn it into an STF, but Sandow kicks away. Double clothesline and both men are down. Ref begins the count. The two exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Shocker here as Cena gets control, but Sandow with the drop toehold to the second rope. Sandow with a running butt splash for a nearfall.

Sandow again in control as we break.

Back and Sandow lands a right hand on Cena that tangles Cena in the ropes. Sandow taunting him and does another Rotation of Illumination. Sandow strikes the tied Cena. Sandow unloading with punches and kicks. Cena breaks free and hits the flying shoulder block. Cena unloading punches to the downed opponent.

Sandow moves outside and Cena takes chase, but Sandow stifles him and sends him into the steel steps.

Sandow inside and he gets a nearfall.

Sandow stalking Cena and he hits the running neckbreaker for another nearfall.

Sandow again stomping and unleashing his frustration on Cena. Sandow with another Rotation of Illumination. Another knee drop and Sandow again holds the sleeper. Cena gets out with a back bodydrop. Sandow cornered, but Cena runs into the elbow of Sandow. Nearfall by our intellectual savior.

Sandow again with a Rotation of Illumination and tries a knee drop, but Cena rolls out. Flying shoulder tackles and a side slam by Cena. Five Knuckle Shuffle by Cena. Sandow up on the shoulders of Cena, but he wiggles out and brings Cena's face down on his knee. Facebreaker earns a nearfall.

Sandow looking for Terminus, but Cena pulls him down and locks in a STF.

Take a guess, folks.

Cena wins by submission as Sandow immediately taps.

Antonio Cesaro vs. Zack Ryder

Fireman's carry by Cesaro and he rolls Ryder over for a nearfall.

Takedown by Cesaro and he locks in a crossface. Cesaro sent into the ropes and knocks Ryder down with a shoulder block. Ryder sent to the ropes and gets a rollup. The two change the postions for a few nearfalls.

Cesaro with a nice double leg on Ryder. Ryder sent into the corner and Cesaro with strikes to the downed Ryder. Ryder back to his feet, but Cesaro with a running European uppercut. Cesaro with an uppercut to the back of Ryder's head. The two exchange offense and Ryder gets Cesaro to the outside with a dropkick.

Ryder with a baseball slide kick. He puts Cesaro in and gets on the apron. Ryder with a kick to the face, but Cesaro makes Ryder double over with some strikes. Cesaro tosses Ryder on his stomach into the metal connecting the turnbuckles to the post.

Cesaro controlling as we break.

Back and Cesaro has the sleeper. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker follows for a nearfall.

Cesaro stomps the chest of Ryder for a nearfall.

Cesaro with a punch to the back of a neck. He follows with a kick to the spine for another nearfall.

Cesaro with the Karelin throw and then follows by locking in the sleeper hold. Ryder fighting out, getting back up to his feet. Body shots, but Cesaro sends Ryder into the ropes. Tilt-a-whirl attempt by Cesaro turns into a lariat for Ryder. The two exchange strikes and Ryder goes up top for the missile dropkick. Splash by Ryder and he goes for the Broski Boot. Cesaro moves outside.

Ryder trying a dive, but he eats the Swiss Death.

Cesaro with the Gotch Neutralizer and that is all she wrote!

Cesaro on the mic post-match and he tells the crowd that he is disgusted with them. He says he hates this part of the country, but he has to as the US titleholder. Cesaro says that, even though he holds the title of an inferior country, he is a superior champ.

Kofi Kingston comes out.

Typical Kofi promo were he says nothing of substance, but we have our main event next week.
