On this date in WWF history: Saturday Night's Main Pumpkin Pass

Stay connected for news and updates

It's always good to look back on classic goofy 1980s pro wrestling and the Pumpkin Pass held on Saturday Night's Main Event on this date in history does not disappoint

On November 2, 1985, World Wrestling Federation (WWF) had a special Halloween-themed show planned for Saturday Night's Main Event, including the infamous "pumpkin pass" between a roster of dressed-up superstars.

This is classic 80's wrestling in all its goofy glory.

The video is worth watching just for the commentary by the incomparable Jesse "The Body" Ventura, who absolutely destroys half the faces in attendance for no other reason than because he can.

And seeing Miss Elizabeth prancing around in a leotard with her pumpkins exposed doesn't hurt either.
