On Saturday, we advised you of WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia reportedly having been struck by a car last Friday (Oct. 26, 2012) in Los Angeles, CA. This according to WWE.com, who released this statement over the weekend: "Garcia suffered multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body, but she is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors have immobilized Garcia's neck and will be keeping her hospitalized overnight to monitor her." The latest update from WWE.com as of Sunday (Oct. 28) is that according to Garcia's husband, Chris, she was able to be released from the hospital in LA and is presumably home resting at this time. The official word: "Lilian has been released from the LA hospital, but is still under medical watch due to her body injuries," he said. "The love, support and prayers from our immediate family, our friends and the WWE family and Universe is extremely heartfelt and strengthening during this unfortunate time." We will continue to keep you updated on the lovely SmackDown announcer's condition as it hopefully continues to improve. Image Attribution: By Samantha L.
