Remember The Brood? They were a trio of vampires with a cool entrance and cheesy promos that were born on this date in history.
On October 26, 1998, Gangrel was squashed by Kane. Business as usual, no question, but after the match, Edge and Christian came to the ring to attack "The Big Red Machine" and the vampire faction known as "The Brood" was born.
It didn't last, as Edge and Christian became the hot new tag team, eventually pushing Matt and Jeff Hardy into their roles as the "New Brood."
That didn't last either, but at least they had a kick-ass entrance, which you can watch below:
