We're just one night away, Cagesiders.
Tomorrow night (Jan. 29, 2012) live on pay-per-view, WWE brings its Royal Rumble to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. They're pushing the tagline hard, that "every superstar is eligible to enter." At this point that just seems to make clear that members of the undercard will appear in the match.
The undercard includes names like John Cena, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, and Mark Henry. All or none could appear, though the former seems far more likely than the latter.
Oh, and Wade Barrett recently tweeted that Papa Shango will be a surprise entrant. Take that how you will.

Maybe they are just saying that so that the kids are reminded that their favorite guy Cena will wrestle multiple times on the card.
Though honestly there have been plenty of past Rumble matches where undercard names appeared, as well as past Rumble matches where surprise legends showed up, so I don’t get what the big deal is with this. In other words unless Punk or Bryan show up in this match as champ, I don’t see how this Rumble is any different from the others. One thing that they have never done is have a surprise legend show up and actually win the damn thing. So unless Lesnar or Rock show up and actually win it, how will this Rumble be any different?
