CM Punk and John Cena sing 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' at WWE house show (Video)

CM Punk and John Cena, supposed rivals, sing John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Roads."

I get it that kayfabe is dead in 2011 and this was just a house show but allow me to channel Miz for just a second and simply say -- really? Really? Really?

Longer version with an alternate view after the jump.

Are they trying to reboot the Stone Cold & Rock singing show?

Sorry, but it’s not working. They had the skill and positioning to pull that off. Cena and Punk? Not so much.

Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses. --The Knockout Mechanism.

Meh.

I’m fine with Punk and Cena having some fun at a non-televised show. Kayfabe is for twitter and when the show goes on the air.

I have no problem with this.

Punk and Cena aren’t even feuding anymore, and when they were it wasn’t a “Grrr, I hate you John Cena!” kind of thing. Punk has been indirectly feuding with management since late July.
