WWE News: Three hour Raw, 41-man battle royal advertised for Super Smackdown show along with return of DX
WWE advertisements have been rolling out with recently with some notes worth reporting on both the Raw and Smackdown brands (which are still split and it will stay that way).
On the Raw side, USA is now advertising the Nov. 14 episode, which will emanate from John Cena's neck of the woods in Boston, will be a three-hour show.
It's important to note that that night's event will be the go-home show to Survivor Series, which means we can fully expect The Rock to be in attendance, as he's contracted to work a couple of Raw shows before the big pay-per-view on Nov. 20.
Over on Smackdown, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, has a website that is advertising a Super Smackdown show for the Oct. 11 tapings. Here's the promotional piece from the site:
FOUR BLOCKBUSTER MAIN EVENTS:
JOHN CENA VS. ALBERTO DEL RIO FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
"THE APEX PREDATOR" RANDY ORTON VS. "WORLD'S STRONGEST MAN" MARK HENRY FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
THE LARGEST BATTLE ROYAL IN WWE HISTORY: A 41 MAN OVER THE TOP BATTLE ROYAL WITH ALL THE RAW AND SMACKDOWN SUPERSTARS
PLUS A SPECIAL APPERANCE BY DX
ALSO THERE:
CM PUNK
"CAPTAIN CHARISMA" CHRISTIAN
"CELTIC WARRIOR" SHEAMUS
JOHN MORRISON
"AIR BOOM" EVAN BOURNE AND KOFI KINGSTON
WADE BARRETT
"DASHING" CODY RHODES
"MONEY IN THE BANK WINNER" DANIEL BRYAN
AND MANY, MANY MORE!!!
I doubt the "special appearance by DX" is anything more than Shawn Michaels, who is scheduled to return to TV in October to help promote the upcoming release of the Greatest Rivalries: "Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels" DVD, and Triple H shilling said DVD.
I also wouldn't read too much into the advertisement of Cena vs. Del Rio for the WWE championship, although there have been numerous reports stating Del Rio is scheduled to win the title this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.

And so is Orton. I hope that doesn't mean he beats Mark Henry
(unless it’s not a clean win, which is alright)

Great. Hours and hours of Michael Cole. If that doesn't cause anal bleeding, I don't know what will...
Other than getting raped by Heidenreich or JBL.
Pushes Manny Pac out of the way and jumps up and down behind Velasquez and Dos Santos.
