On this date in WWE history: It's 'lights out' for Lita and Candice Michelle ... literally
You know the old saying, the ho show must go on.
Such was the case on this date in WWE history, when Lita and Candice Michelle were scheduled to jerk the curtain on Monday Night Raw as part of the Women's Championship Tournament.
Technical difficulties ... please stand by.
Unfortunately a good portion of Oklahoma City suffered a blackout, leaving the arena to operate solely by emergency spotlight. Undeterred, the two ladies delivered what they promised on September 25, 2006.
Well, sort of.
Edge was special guest referee and speared Candice to give Lita the win (along with some gratuitous groping). John Cena, the great defender of justice, then ran out to be the hero and clear the ring.
Good times!

They could run countless numbers of cameras, audio equipment, and an entire production truck
But the only light they could use was an emergency spotlight?
