The Muppets to guest star on WWE Raw on Halloween
Halloween this year falls on a Monday and you just knew WWE would break out the gimmicks for Raw that night. Sure enough, as announced today on the company website, The Muppets will be guest starring on the show on Oct. 31.
What will happen when Kermit the Frog meets The Viper? Will the Divas make Miss Piggy flip with jealousy? Will Beaker be confused for Sheamus? On Halloween, it's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights, because the Muppets are about to get Raw!
Whoever wrote that copy should feel ashamed for their chosen profession.
The Muppets have a new movie coming out this upcoming Thanksgiving, so this is yet another cross promotion tactic. And, quite frankly, it's just downright embarrassing. It would also seem to make it clear that WWE is still marketing itself to kids. Not that we didn't already know this.

I will give anything to see Statler and Waldorf sitting in a balcony and shitting all over how bad RAW is. Oh man!

It is not enough to succeed. Others must fail.

It's "downright embarrassing" for whom?
The WWE, for being upstaged by puppets?
The only thing that would make this better is if they had nothing but Muppet sketches for two hours.
Regal, R-Truth, Ricardo, and Vince can be involved in the sketches. Everyone else has the night off.

This has too much potential
Theoretically, it could be PPV-caliber. Well, 5 bucks. That’s more than I’d pay to watch RAW otherwise.
Release...the KITTIES!

Oh Great!
Now will get to see who’s really pulling the strings! I heard Kermit wants to discuss a potential muppet conspiracy theory with Miz and R-Truth. After all aren’t we all puppets on the big stage?

Staler: Do you remember that movie the adventures of Pluto Nash??
Waldorf: No, was it any good?
Statler: No, it was slow, boring and difficult to watch.
Waldorf: Sounds like the Adventures of Kevin Nash!
